About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Risk Technologist / Analyst to join Novacard Risk team and help redefine how credit decisions are made in Mexico. In this role, you’ll design and improve credit card and personal loan risk scoring processes, implement models, and build new data-driven decisioning tools. You’ll work closely with engineers and data experts to optimize decision times and deliver smarter, faster credit products to our users. If you have experience in retail risk from a top-tier bank, solid SQL and integration skills, and a passion for transparent, tech-driven finance — we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and continuously improve credit scoring processes for credit cards and personal loans

  • Collaborate on model implementation and risk decision strategies

  • Analyze customer behavior and data patterns to build new instruments and enhance decision logic

  • Improve automation and decisioning time across risk workflows

Job requirements

  • Fluent Russian; English level B1+ (comfortable reading and writing technical documentation)

  • Proven experience as a business/system analyst in retail risk decision-making

  • Background in top-tier banks (experience in top-10 Russian banks is a plus)

  • Strong SQL skills (background in MS SQL will be a plus)

  • Experience working with integrations (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.)

  • Basic Python for data manipulation and analysis (will be a plus)
