We are a fast-growing startup transforming access to credit through innovative point-of-sale (POS) lending solutions. Our platform enables merchants to offer seamless financing options to customers, driving sales growth while improving financial inclusion.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Head of Sales to lead and scale our commercial operations in Mexico. This role will be responsible for building and executing the sales strategy, developing high-performing teams, and establishing key partnerships with merchants and strategic stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines strong startup or financial services experience with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building long-term client relationships.


Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the national sales strategy for POS lending solutions

  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performance sales team

  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships with merchants, retailers, and enterprise clients

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline and forecasting process

  • Establish KPIs, track performance, and optimize sales effectiveness

  • Collaborate with product, risk, and marketing teams to align go-to-market strategies

  • Represent the company in industry events and strengthen market presence

  • Leverage existing network and relationships to accelerate business development

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles

  • Proven experience in startup, financial services, lending, or payments (startup experience strongly preferred)

  • Demonstrated success in scaling sales operations and delivering revenue growth

  • Strong network of contacts within relevant industries (retail, financial services, or startup is a plus)

  • Experience selling B2B or B2B2C financial products, ideally POS or consumer financing solutions

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities

  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience launching or scaling startup products in Mexico

  • Background in POS lending, BNPL, or consumer credit
