About the Company
We are a fast-growing startup transforming access to credit through innovative point-of-sale (POS) lending solutions. Our platform enables merchants to offer seamless financing options to customers, driving sales growth while improving financial inclusion.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Head of Sales to lead and scale our commercial operations in Mexico. This role will be responsible for building and executing the sales strategy, developing high-performing teams, and establishing key partnerships with merchants and strategic stakeholders.
The ideal candidate combines strong startup or financial services experience with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building long-term client relationships.
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the national sales strategy for POS lending solutions
Build, lead, and scale a high-performance sales team
Identify and secure strategic partnerships with merchants, retailers, and enterprise clients
Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline and forecasting process
Establish KPIs, track performance, and optimize sales effectiveness
Collaborate with product, risk, and marketing teams to align go-to-market strategies
Represent the company in industry events and strengthen market presence
Leverage existing network and relationships to accelerate business development
Requirements
Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles
Proven experience in startup, financial services, lending, or payments (startup experience strongly preferred)
Demonstrated success in scaling sales operations and delivering revenue growth
Strong network of contacts within relevant industries (retail, financial services, or startup is a plus)
Experience selling B2B or B2B2C financial products, ideally POS or consumer financing solutions
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities
Fluent in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience launching or scaling startup products in Mexico
Background in POS lending, BNPL, or consumer credit
