Job description

About us

At NOVACARD, we’re building digital financial products that actually work for real people. We are a fast-growing, data-driven mexican company where financial insights directly shape strategy, growth, and profitability.

We operate in a high-impact environment where unit economics truly matter. The work you do here doesn’t stay in models — it influences pricing, growth decisions, fundraising narratives, and long-term sustainability of the business.

About the role

We’re looking for a FP&A Specialist with strong analytical and financial modeling skills, capable of owning and evolving our unit economics framework.

Your main objective will be to understand, model, and explain the profitability of our business at a unit level. On a daily basis, you’ll work with CAC, LTV, contribution margin, payback periods, cohorts, and scenarios to help leadership understand what drives value — and what doesn’t.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with high exposure to strategic discussions.

  1. Advanced / fluent English (presentations, discussions, documentation).

  2. 2–4 years of experience in unit economics, financial modeling, FP&A, analytics, or similar roles (fintech, banking, startup environments preferred).

  3. Advanced Excel for financial and cohort modeling.

  4. Strong SQL skills for data analysis.

  5. Solid understanding of unit economics concepts (CAC, LTV, contribution margin, payback, churn).

  6. Ability to translate numbers into clear business insights.

  4. Support pricing experiments and assess their impact on margins and lifetime value.

  6. Simulate break-even points and growth thresholds under different scenarios.

  7. Prepare clear, defensible unit economics narratives for leadership, fundraising, and board discussions.

  8. Partner closely with Finance, Growth, and Data teams.
