About the Role:
We’re looking for an Anti-Fraud Investigator to join the NOVACARD Risk Tech team and help strengthen our fraud prevention and detection framework across global markets. In this role, you will analyze suspicious activities, investigate potential fraud cases, and manage client reimbursement processes. You will ensure timely and accurate chargeback responses, maintain the integrity of fraud-related data, and contribute to improving internal investigation workflows. You will collaborate closely with data, risk, and operations teams to enhance automation, monitoring efficiency, and overall fraud response quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and document fraud cases in internal systems

  • Enter and maintain accurate fraud-related data

  • Investigate suspicious activities and cases, including those related to phone number changes and payment defaults

  • Manage client reimbursement cases, including chargeback responses, internal tasks, and correspondence

  • Upload and validate data in the data warehouse (DWH)

  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve fraud detection and investigation processes

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Fluent Russian and English B1+ (comfortable reading technical documentation)

  • 1–3 years of experience as an Investigator, Underwriter, or Fraud Analyst in Anti-Fraud or Collections

  • Higher education (incomplete higher education is acceptable with relevant experience)

  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership beyond formal instructions

  • Solid Excel and SQL skills (intermediate or above)

  • Experience with task-tracking tools (e.g., Jira)

Nice to Have:

  • Basic VBA or Python skills for automation

  • Previous experience in anti-fraud, collections, or underwriting
